WCSD School Community: 

As you are aware, Superintendent Matt Wilkins will retire at the end of July. On behalf of the entire Board of Education, we want to take a moment to share the progress we have made thus far and the next steps in selecting Warsaw CSD's next leader. 

The Board of Education has appointed Kevin MacDonald, District Superintendent of Genesee Valley BOCES, as our consultant to guide the Board in the process. 

The Board met with Mr. MacDonald to begin planning the process and timeline. The Board wants to engage with staff and the school community at the beginning of the process to assist us in creating a candidate profile that will meet the needs and expectations of the school community. 

Prior to posting for the position, the Board is interested in learning what the staff and school community believe are the most important professional and personal characteristics, along with the greatest needs for Warsaw.
