Meghan Youngers, the daughter of Brian and Amy Youngers, is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2024. Meghan plans to attend the Culinary Institute of America, located in Hyde Park, NY, to major in Food Business Management with a focus in Baking and Pastry Arts. Her goal is to open her own farm-to-table bakery. During her tenure at WCS, Meghan was a member of the FFA and served in various roles throughout the years, including secretary, vice president, and president. She was also a member of National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society. Meghan also served as the treasurer of the Class of 2024 and was an active member of the WCS Sr. High Chorus.

Samantha Werner, the Salutatorian of the Class of 2024, plans to attend SUNY Oswego to study Global and International Studies, and minor in Accounting. She hopes to get an internship abroad while at SUNY Oswego. While at WCS, Samantha participated in volleyball for six years, indoor track and field for four years, and outdoor track and field for five years. She also was a member of Drama Club for seven years, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) for seven years, Page Turners for seven years, and National Honor Society for four years. Samantha is the daughter of John Werner and Dara McGonigle.

Ranked third in this year’s graduating class is Sydney Goulet. At WCS, Sydney participated in Drama Club, JV girls’ basketball, varsity girls’ basketball, varsity tennis, National Junior Honor Society, and National Honor Society. She served as the senior class president and as a Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership representative. Sydney, the daughter of Raymond and Kelli Goulet, plans to attend Savannah College of Art and Design, in Savannah, Georgia, to study Production Design.

Abigail Laubenheimer is ranked fourth in the Class of 2024. The daughter of Ellen Cross and Scott Laubenheimer, Abigail plans to SUNY Geneseo to study Accounting. As an active member of the WCS student body, Abigail participated in Drama Club, National Junior Honor Society, National Honor Society, French Club (co-president), basketball, soccer, cross country, indoor and outdoor track, and Student Council (co-president). She also served as the Class of 2024 secretary.

Ranked fifth in this year’s graduating class is Omar Bayoumi, the son of Drs. Ahmed and Rania-Karam Bayoumi. He played varsity soccer in his junior and senior years at WCS. In the fall, Omar plans to attend the University at Buffalo to major in Biomedical Sciences with the intention of attending medical school and becoming a doctor.

Ranked sixth this year is Quinton Librock, the son of Robert and Miriam Strassel. While at WCS, Quinton participated in basketball and National Honor Society. Outside of school, he enjoys playing video games and spending time with family and friends. Quinton plans to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology to study Software Engineering.

Aurora Livingstone, the seventh-ranked senior, plans to attend SUNY Brockport to study Nursing and eventually become a registered nurse. As an active member of the WCS student body, Aurora participated in Drama Club, National Junior Honor Society, National Honor Society, Student Council (co-president), varsity tennis, Medical Club, Yearbook Club, and chorus. She is the daughter of Scott and Kelli Livingstone.

Kaelyn Keefer, the eighth-ranked senior, plans to attend Niagara University to study Early Childhood Education. During her tenure at WCS, Kaelyn participated in Drama Club, JV basketball, softball and volleyball, and varsity basketball, tennis and volleyball. Kaelyn was the 2024 recipient of the Strome Family Scholarship. She is the daughter of Steven and Stacey Keefer.

Representing the Class of 2024 in the ninth-ranked position is Karson Heubusch. The son of Karson and Mona Heubusch, enjoys classic cars and motorsports. He studies piano and plays chess. Karson has also participated in Jazz Band as a junior and senior. Karson plans to attend the University at Buffalo to study Biomedical Science. He has been accepted into the Honors Program with the plan to continue onto medical school to become a heart surgeon.

Rounding out the Top Ten is Jade Mair-Miley, the daughter of Casie Mair-Miley. Jade participated in Drama Club, National Honor Society, varsity cross country, and varsity indoor and outdoor track and field while at WCS. She plans to attend SUNY Geneseo to study Social Work.
