Students Participate in Project Sticker Shock

Eighth-graders Beatriz Bobier, Emily Broughton, Gabriella Cino, Tyler Dickes, Grady Liebler, and Griffin Schurr, under the guidance of Mrs. Sheer and Princpal Winchip, joined the Project Sticker Shock campaign on September 16. Students from Wyoming County schools joined forces with Partners for Prevention and the Wyoming County Mental Health Department to visit local retail stores to place warning stickers on alcoholic beverages. The stickers are meant to serve as reminders to adults that illegally purchasing or providing minors with alcohol carries penalties and consequences.
