About Our District
Nestled in the beautiful Oatka Valley, the picturesque Village of Warsaw is southeast of Buffalo and southwest of Rochester, about one hour from each of these metropolitan areas. It is easily accessible via routes 20A and 19. The district encompasses 90 square miles including all or parts of the Towns of Gainesville, Java, Middlebury, Orangeville, Warsaw and Wethersfield. The District operates in two buildings located across the street from each other within the village. The town of Warsaw contains several government buildings, many churches, coffee shops, local restaurants, a movie theater, a town library and the only hospital in the county.
Indoor and outdoor recreational facilities are available at the school, the local YMCA, the Warsaw Village Park, and nearby Silver Lake and the picturesque Letchworth State Park. The surrounding area provides plentiful opportunities for golf, tennis, swimming, hunting and fishing. Professional football, hockey, theatre, art galleries, and both the Buffalo and Rochester Philharmonic Orchestras are all within an hour's drive.

The District serves approximately 800 students in grades PreK through 12. The Elementary School building houses grades PreK - 5 and the Middle High School houses grade 6 - 12.
The instructional program provides a full range of opportunities, enabling students to become responsible, competent and effective members of society. High school students may earn college credits through Advanced Placement courses and programs offered in conjunction with area colleges. Enrichment programs are provided at all grade levels. Approximately 90% of graduates are accepted into two or four year colleges, many in "highly" or "very competitive" colleges and universities. Over 90% of students completing programs at the BOCES Career and Technical Center are successfully employed. An inclusion philosophy is effective in educating students with special needs.
A very active FFA chapter has been dominant in local and state competitions in recent years as well as the Drama Club and Music Department. Warsaw athletic teams have been very competitive in local and regional competitions in football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, indoor and outdoor track, tennis and cheerleading.
